Sheep and goat milk

Milk is the most important raw material that provides a distinct taste to the cheese and dairy products of a cheese factory, and we know this very well at the Farmers Group of Heraklion - ZOE. The milk we bring is from selected flocks of local small indigenous Cretan breeds of sheep and goats that graze freely in areas of Psiloritis, White and Asterousia Mountains, as well as lowland areas throughout Crete which provide less milk of higher quality.
We exclusively trade fresh goat and sheep milk from Crete. Our company, apart from cheese making, is also active in the field of wholesale of raw, sheep and goat milk collected every day by privately owned milk tanks of ZOE from all prefectures of Crete and delivered to cheese factories throughout Greece.
All cooperating Cretan livestock farmers have ELOGAK code, Greek livestock farm codes, vaccination card as well as milk storage ice tanks supplied to them by the Farmers Group of Heraklion - ZOE.
