Pecorino Cretan - ZOH

It is characterized as a hard table cheese with thin skin, with a special taste and saltiness. It is prepared in our cheese factory in Vourvoulitis Heraklion based on a traditional recipe and is characterized by its rich aroma and spicy taste. A distinctive feature is the characteristic salty taste attributed to it by the unique fine Cretan salt from the area of Balos. Faithful to the Italian recipe from Sardinia, our Pecorino is produced exclusively from Cretan pasteurized sheep's milk with the cheese covered with a transparent or black protective "film".

Goat Cretan Graviera - ZOH

The Goat Graviera of Crete - ZOE is a traditional cheese product rich in proteins with a particularly pleasant, sweet like taste, a soft discreet aroma, an elastic mass with less oiliness, 19-25% fat, and almost no salty taste. It is produced from goat's milk from free-range on the mountain peaks of Omalos and Psiloritis.
