Mizithra Cretan – ZOH

Mizithra Crete – ZOE, is a traditional cheese and belongs to the category of products made from sheep and goat whey with added milk and salt. It is a soft white cheese without skin, has a compact structure with no holes observed within the mass. The method of preparation of mizithra cheese and anthotyro cheese is identical, the collection of gel flakes from the surface of the cauldron at high heat treatment through a combination of acidification.





Anthotyros Cretan – ZOH

Anthotyro or Anthotyros, as we usually call it in Crete, is a traditional soft Greek cheese. In our cheese factory we produce soft fresh anthotyro. We also produce Cretan Dry Anthotyros ZOE that is famous for its quality, and for the maturation process which reduces the percentage of moisture, giving it a more intense and fragrant taste of milk. Grated Anthotyro is an excellent accompaniment to pasta.
